Friday: 3:00pm-11:00 pm

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is involved in hands on patient care. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist manages room workflow and facilitates care of patients in conjunction with the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor.
Under general supervision and following established procedures and protocols performs/facilitates Diagnostic Imaging examinations for all patients.

Maintains proficiency with all imaging equipment and department protocols.

Assures equipment is maintained in safe and proper working order. Reports room malfunctions to appropriate personnel and places service call when appropriate.

Enters the appropriate charges into the EMAR accurately for all exams.

Ensures that all exams of high quality and available for interpretation in a timely fashion.

Consistently demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal, with all departmental, hospital staff, and vendors.

Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure efficient operation of the department and quality patient care

Must have graduated from an approved program in Radiologic Sciences

· Must maintain a current Massachusetts state licensure

· Must maintain a current ARRT registry in Radiologic Sciences

· Must maintain a current BCLS

Must have completed a minimum of 2 years clinical internship via Radiologic Sciences program
