Laboratory-LIS Analyst

Provide laboratory information services to the Medical Staff, Pathologists, Laboratory Director,  Laboratory Supervisors, any Faulkner Employees/departments or Outreach related clients as requested in accordance with accepted policies, procedures, standards and accrediting agencies. Manage LIS systems and database developments. This individual will perform the evaluation, design, testing, implementation and provision of technical and application support of the LIS. Establishes effective inter-departmental communication to assess and accommodate the needs of the departments. Troubleshoots and brings to resolution issues reported by users. Acts as a liaison between Laboratory and the Hospital Information Services Department.

  • BS in a Clinical Laboratory Discipline or Computer Science required
  • MLT or MT (ASCP) desirable
  • 3-5 years in a hospital.
  • Experience with Sunquest Information System software platform preferred
